Lots of new bracelets and even some necklaces in my new Etsy Shop. Also some that expired from my other shop. I still have at least two leather bracelets waiting to be finished - in draft form. I have until this time (11:30 p.m.) tomorrow night to take advantage of those free listings. Trouble is I will be out most of the day and evening. I will see what I can do in the morning. Will post my new and renewed listings on another day. Time for me to go to bed.

Well, my goal was to reach 2000 sales by Christmas.
I am at 1916. (7 years on Etsy)
I am not sure if I am going to make it.
I average a sale (an item) every three days (according to my calculations).
With 45 days until Christmas, I will only average 15 items sold.
SO... I need 2 sales a day. (hahahaha - I kid myself).
But, who knows. Maybe the good sales fairy will shine down on me this winter.

I am going to appliqué tail feathers on my turkey sweatshirt. That will make me feel plucky! (I will need to take a picture to show you all.)

Why do we choose a holiday or occasion for each item?
I don't see it on my cell phone in the overview.
Does it get us into that category?
If so, why not change the category every month?

I was out all day so didn' t see your idea for posting, Jul.
I managed to post 2 more listings that were in draft tonight in my new shop and one brand new one in my other shop - luckily I already had the photos though I did a little brightening on them.
I renewed a couple of listings in my older shops - I only had a few free listings left and no time to move others over. However, in my new shop I have over 30 free listings of my own. I renewed a few even though I had only listed them these past few days. I was not going to let them go to waste! Now, I have to go back and edit some of those older listings that still have mother's day as the occasion on them...... LOL

Good Morning Paradise!

Juls, THANK YOU for setting us up with a new thread. I was going to get to it, I'm sorry. Been in a funk the past couple of days now that Mike is gone again. :(

My arm, shoulder and neck are really acting up too. I'm not going to physical therapy anymore, but have been doing the exercises he gave me. Perhaps too vigorously? I think I'll do half the reps today, and pay mind to going easier. I really can't afford our co-pay which is charged for EVERY visit in, but if I don't get feeling better this week, I'll be calling again. I do have a massage scheduled this week too, she's also a physical therapist. I think I'll wait to show her the exercises and get her input. Man, I am sore tho.

On the Etsy front, I have a question. How is everyone's holiday sales going? I am practically dead. I thought I was picking up in October, now nothing. I am working on my last slipper order, then zilch. I am doing less that 100 views/per week in all of my shops. What am I doing wrong? What can I be doing? At this rate, it's not worth my time. Maybe I should find a new venue?

Juls, even my desktop computer displays only a few lines of my description and has a "More+" button to see the rest. It's really frustrating, esp. on my wedding invitation listings. There is so much information that I need them to respond to and since they started doing this I'm having to convo after the sale to get the information at least 85% of the time. I don't understand Etsy's reasoning for doing this on our individual listings???

I have a new "Section" that Etsy has put in my shop...
"On Sale" is now under "All"...
I already have two sections:
Etsy Sale 50% off
and
Additional Sale Items

Now, Etsy has created this "on sale" section to add to my shop and my shop looks like I am ALL on sale... three sections of sale items?

They must have this in anyone's shop who is doing a discount through Etsy.

PLEASE LEAVE MY SHOP ALONE! I have my sections.I know what is where. I want to say that I have a 50% off and an "other" sale section... but this is just crazy. Ug. If it ain't broke... don't fix it.
