Haha... I have been in your shoes for saying hello, Dianna. Days when no one is around and I keep popping in.
I have the boutique tomorrow. Car is loaded. I will try to sell all the big stuff and clothing. Need to purge. Deals at the show. Selling stuff I have listed, so I will have to make sure items are in my shop before letting go. It's never been a problem, since I don't make that many sales online or in person, but we shall see.

Set up at 7:30. Starts at 9:00. I hope it goes well. I am nervous because I am hopeful. 10 x 5 space. Loaded way too much stuff, but who knows.

Stitching some table runners tonight. Why? I don't know... to add to my stock? Silly, but doing it anyway.

Okay... needle case motor error... again. Ug!
I know they did something to the machine when I tried to get it fixed, and it has not been repaired, but I have been fiddling with it - turning it on and off, and it sometimes works. I am trying to sneak around the book and fix it and occasionally, it works. (Though all I do is let it rest overnight.) But I will eventually have to take it to the shop again... this time, my local shop and I will have to fork out another chunk of change. But, hopefully, the new person will be able to fix it and stand by his work.
Got one side of the table runner done. The second side never got started. I could try to sell it just with one design on one side... but that just seems weird to me. Oh well. Maybe I will get it done and stitched to sell here on Etsy.

Okay. I have to get my apron and money and business cards ready for tomorrow. Sort of excited and nervous. Fingers are crossed!

what is the etsy etsy gift card?

An Etsy Gift card is just like any other gift card. It is purchased from Etsy. Etsy holds the money until the person spends it in a shop. If someone uses the gift card in your shop, it just means that Etsy will give you the payment from the gift card (like a Visa Gift Card). As I have found, it does not hurt us in any way. It is all money - however it gets to me.

Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. No Jury Duty this time around. Air quality Index is around 170. It is so hard to breath. Staying inside as much as possible.

Didn't make my $80 booth space back at the boutique. Maybe people stayed in because of the AQI. But, just not a good boutique for me, I guess... Oh, well. I did meet some nice people. One lady gave me an item from her Pampered Chef booth and it was probably worth the balance of my booth expense. She was very sweet. Thinking that way, it kind of makes me break even. :) And I met a wonderful Tupperware lady. She is exchanging all my broken Tupperware for new ones. Did you know that Tupperware is guaranteed for life? If it breaks, cracks, etc., they will replace for free (just pay shipping) or if they don't have that item anymore, they give you credit in their catalog. Win-win. If it's broken, I can't use it anyway.
And they are getting a new freezer line in January. So, I can finally get some freezer containers that won't crack! (And if they do, they replace them for free... right?) I love Tupperware. :)
Rambling... sorry. I am a little giddy.

I haven't done anything else to my shop but Saturday evening I received a convo which resulted in a sale. Shipped it off this morning. Came back and KaChing another sale! Printed out an Etsy Label and popped that order in the mail this afternoon.
Just 2 small sales but feels good!

My daughter has two friends who lost their homes in the Chico/Paradise fires. We are gathering items for her to take to them in a couple of weeks. They don't have anyplace to store the items yet. Between them... 4 kids. I am hoping to make them some really wonderful things for Christmas that the parents (my daughter's friends) can give to them and each other.

Dianna, funny. I wanted to sell it, but hubby didn't want even MORE stuff in the house while I had to store it for shows and such. It's better that I didn't. I bet you have tons of it in your home.

Pretty much everything in the shop that is ready-to-ship is on sale at 20% off. I just want to clear house. I still have so much stuff.

Hey guys, Hope everyone is well and you all had a wonderful Holiday.
Boy Juls, I feel your pain..I spent the last month and $$ trying to get ready for two shows and only sold 3 necklaces in 12 hours. Never again. My show days are over.
Now Im in the midst over "GOT TO HAVE IT BY XMAS!!" orders. I'll jump in as I can, and hope you all stay really busy.

Sorry to hear you did not do well at your shows, Leslie and Juls. Juls glad to hear you are finally working again.
Two more sales - my glittery snowman earrings are popular. I have a number of people favouriting them. Well at least for my shop it is a number! LOL
Just printed out the Etsy label and packaged everything up.
One customer that bought the earrings messaged me because he bought them for his wife and she didn't like them. Wondered what my return policy was - had to say sorry, no returns on earrings. I did offer him a discount if he wanted to order anything else. I didn't state how much - that was going to depend on what he would want to order.
On the personal front, I'm busy busy busy. If it isn't shopping, it's sewing or baking, or being with my grandchildren especially taking my granddaughter to her dance classes.
Time is ticking. Less than 3 weeks to her performance in the Nutcracker. This coming Saturday it is rehearsal for most of the day. I also volunteered for any sewing, cutting, gluing work that needed to be done for the show - December 22nd.
I have baked with the grandchildren - gingerbread cookies - and baked other cookies. I still have more to do. Today, they came over to help decorate the tree.
I've been shopping for gifts and just have my daughters to buy for and one son in law. Tomorrow, my daughter and I may go looking for doll houses - it's the only day that we both have the time. I am going with her as she doesn't have a credit card.
Time to go and finish my laundry.
