Those shipping paper products

Those of you who ship paper products like scrapbook layouts, cards, etc...do you have a fool proof way to prevent our loving post office from bending/creasing your work?

Re: Those shipping paper products

You could try their Flat Rate boxes? They are sturdier, and would be easy to figure shipping since you pay a 'flat rate' to purchase them...?

Re: Those shipping paper products

The flat rate boxes have been great for shipping cards, especially heavily embellished ones.
For 12x12 layouts, anything flat rate seems overkill. For now I'm just using heavy cardboard and shipping tape.

Re: Those shipping paper products

I use bubble/padded envelopes & put cardboard pieces inside to help them from being bent. I also write "Please Do Not Bend" on the outside of the envelope but I'm not sure how much that helps! LOL

Re: Those shipping paper products

When ever I have received items that were late and large (12x12), I receive it this way.

Two pieces of cardboard that have been taped together on all sides

Inside the item is wrapped in bubble wrap

On the outside is 'Please do not bend, photo'.

Hopefully this helps
