Ribbow Bows On Cards

I wanted to know the technique on how to do this. Everytime I try to make a bow, the entire card starts folding in. Am I missing something. Thanks. Not sure if this is where I would ask or if this is only for posting finished products. :)

I punch holes with a line hole punch and tie the ribbon around them - not too tight, not too loose. Triple wrapping the ribbon (instead of 1 loop around) around itself before making the bow makes this easier. Sorry I don't have any examples. :(

Michelle is right, I use a line ribbon hole punch on all of my cards. I don't wrap it in any special way though.

Are you wrapping the card with ribbon or adding it as a decorative adornment?
