Painting on paper?

Hi,

Im wondering wether it may be a good idea to create some paintings on paper. My question is do any of you have any luck selling paintings that are completed on papers or do buyers prefer to have work on canvas? My thought is that because it will be sold at a lower price than if it was completed on canvas I may have more chance of making a sale? What do you guys think?

thanks for any advise

Re: Painting on paper?

Drew,

The best way to make a sale is to "find" people who like the kind of work you make. Not an easy task but having your work on etsy is one of many, many steps you can take to make that happen. Search the etsy forums . .. type in sales, or marketing to see the many, many threads created on ways to connect with those who would be interested in your work. The possibilities are endless . . ..
