By now, most of you on this team are aware of the policy changes that have taken place here at Etsy since early August. We (Laurelei and Natalie) have followed them quite closely, as we find them of particular importance to our shop -- as do many of you. Furthermore, we are women of great conviction, and we feel we MUST act in keeping with our consciences. (To read more about this, check out the Blade and Broom blog at

We have been informing our clients (and now our teammates) that Blade & Broom is transitioning away from Etsy. As items sell or expire, we won't be renewing them; so within four months, there will be nothing left in our Etsy shop to purchase.
We are not closing up shop, though! Not at all!! We have set up our shop on both ArtFire and Bonanza, and we have already seen sales! We have also established the Blade & Broom Botanica Blog -- a source of fabulous information, discounts, and more!
Our ultimate goal is to establish a brick & mortar store and to build a sufficient on- and offline clientele to support a website independent of these marketplaces. We hope to continue the relationship we've established with you, and that you'll come check us out in one of our new locations!
