Outside of Etsy I promote on Twitter and Piinterest. Sometimes on facebook but not lately.
I find if everyone in teams will help each other out and promote as many people as you can and do it consistently you will get out there. I also change my items on the front page and featured couple times a week, do treasuries you will get out there. That helped me get more sales than last year. I actually try to take a couple days in a week at least to do my promoting. Especially new items and old ones that are not moving.
