printing press advice

Hi,
I am thinking of buying a small printing press which is suitable for relief printing at home. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or advice on this? I am based in London so it needs to be a UK supplier. I am looking to pay a few hundred pounds but can go a little higher if I need to.
Please reply if you have bought a printing press recently or you have any suggestions of places to look.
Thanks!! x

Re: printing press advice

Hi Rowanne,

I bought my press from Great Art, which I find is perfect for lino printing, its also relatively compact so easy to store out of the way in my little flat:

I do love anything from Lawrence though, I buy most of my supplies from them and I have been coveting their beechwood relief press for a while:

Hope that helps!

Re: printing press advice

Thanks so much for your help, I also get printing materials from Lawrence and stupidly I had never noticed that they sold presses. Its good to hear a recommendation of something you have actually bought and used, also good that its quite compact as I live in a similarly small flat!
Thanks again,
Rowanne
P.S. I just looked at your prints and I love them x
