What's your pricing formula?

Care to share what your pricing formula is for your prints? Does it differ based on open editions, limited edition, etc., etc.?

Thanks for sharing!

Re: What's your pricing formula?

Hi Amy... I watched the online video about pricing and have read the The Seller Handbook.... www.etsy.com/blog/en/2012/a-simple-formula-for-pricing-your-work/
& I did a spreadsheet which broke down my materials/labor to get my wholesale & retail pricing... I tend to price near wholesale prices which is a bit low...

with open editions, pricing is 35-85 and for limited editions I price higher 125-400 increasing as they sell out. I am realistic about the online market, people are not always aware of the labor put into handmade prints ...start high & you can always lower if things don't sell

& price things I sell at galleries for more. Hope that helps & good luck...Elvia
