Constructive Criticism Appreciated
The following is what I have tried so far :
1. I have tried taking pictures with all white background .
2. I have tried taking pictures with all black background.
3. Now I have post pictures with models and some with white background .
4. I have used less tags / now I have all 13 tags
5. I had 66 item - reduced to 12 items
6. I have posted in social media ( joined Etsy & social media groups)
7. MY Goal 10 sales a week .

I would love some feedback.
1. Do I offer to much different stuff? I have an addicition to crafting to I sell what I love to make
2. Are my prices fair?
3. How are my pictures?
4. What about my listings. (work in progress) do the sound good?

I just need over all feed back.. I have been a shop since 2012 and I am getting super serious about it now.. I would love to go from no sales a week to 3-5.. that would be awesome. I am also working on my pinterest board for sales that way.

I do not know how to tag you but. redmerge. I love you items. I have been told that more listings is good? idk I read it in a few blogs. I think you should work on branding. Like creating your own logo and water stamps. stuff like that. I am new to all this but that's my 2 cents :)

@amber thanks for your suggestions ! I'll add the watermarks to my pictures . I'll add more listings today !
*** I checked out your shop as well and it looks great ! I would add a picture on a person in a few listings just so people can gauge how it fits. Add tags :custom locket /floating locket.

Hi Nesly! Great artwork! My suggestion is that you zoom your listing pics more so it looks bigger on preview. When customers do a search, the preview boxes are small so try to zoom it in so your artwork pops! It's easier to catch their eye that way :)

Your passion for art really comes across in your work. I think buyers will also love the personal touch to your bio. I found it to be very relatable and honest. I think your work is good. Getting more traffic might be about using the right tags especially in your title. I've been using Etsyrank.com and marmalead. I found I had to sacrafice a bit in my title and instead of making it meaningful like you would when you hang your work in a gallery, it's more beneficial to just string together a bunch of tags that will attract traffic. Those websites can help you find the tags that get the most traffic. Good luck!

Hello everyone

I noticed a couple of things in most shops.
Pictures seems to be dark, I would edit pictures. I would brighten them up, and bring more colors to it. White background look very professional, as long as you don't have shadows.

Also I noticed that the more you have for sale the more people are drawn to your shop. I went trough many Etsy shops, everyone who makes a lot of sales, also have a lot of items to choose from.

I have done intensive research lately.. I had the same problem.. very little sales.. I couldn't understand why I can find my items in Etsy? Or why my items are on the last page.

Sadly in this internet ruled world it is not HOW GOOD YOU ARE, it is how much followers you have.

Play all games pinterest related, google searches, twitter, facebook, instagram,.. join share pinterest group, facebook groups etc.

find my share boards, read description, and join them you can then post on my boards, and your items will be expose to a lot more people

It takes time, I am working on advertising myself for 2 months now, and slowly I am seeing results.

I study Marketing, and we should invest only 40% of our time in production, and 60% into advertising.

Someone mentioned on reddit that if your shop has less than 10 listings the Etsy algorithms practially skip over your shop in the search. But they're always tinkering with the algorithms so I'm not sure if this is still true or not.
I also know that before, the more favorites and sales your item has, the more chances it pops up in the first few pages during search. That's the only reason people play the favorites games. Using SEO on your tags and titles is also important. I think it works the same way on Pinterest, the items that pop up first during search are the ones with hundreds or thousands of pins. I am planning to do a game here for 100 (or even 500) pins but I need more members first coz that would require 100 (or 500) players.

I tried to post some stuff on the tips to increase sales thread, it would be great if everyone can share.

Whats Wrong With This Shop?
Hi everyone!
I would love a critique I'm sure there's lots I could learn from one.

The problem is that I do not have many visits.I use all Seo, tags,play games, pins etc. I'm still new, and I do not have so many goods yet,it's true.
