Splitting Full Patterns into Letter/A4 size

Hi all!

I'm wondering if anyone has a good system for splitting up full size garment patterns into US letter or A4 size automatically to make into US letter PDF size?  In the past I've worked in illustrator, manually splitting them into rectangles, but I'd love to have  a more efficient system.  Thanks for any advice!

Hi there! I'm not sure if I understood your question, I do it manually on inkscape as you mention, but if you have it full size in one piece, on Acrobat reader you can choose the poster option and it send it to the printer in your chosen paper size.  I send you a capture of how mine looks but yours may be different since mine is in spanish and it may be a different version.
