Popping by to say "Hi" from a new member!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to pop by and formally say hello before I go off lurking in a corner again somewhere!
I am reasonably new to Etsy and hoping to sell the pattern for one of the dresses that I sell in my shop but have never produced a pattern design that would be "useable" in a commercial sense!
Therefore I am hoping to learn from those who have been there before and maybe produce even more than I imagined!

I create the Mantua-Maker Historical Sewing patterns, and I've been in business 19 years. I discovered Etsy about a year ago, and it's been a life saver.

I just listed my first PDF pattern, so I'm thrilled to find this team.

Hi there,
I am new to this team as well as pattern making. I love sewing and have always altered patterns to my liking but now I am tackling making a couple pdf patterns to sell along side my complete items in my shop... I was so excited to see this team. I think I will be asking lots of advice in the near future.... lol!

Hi Everyone,
this looks like a great group. I am so excited to read through all of the discussions. I feel like I am an island with only my website so here at Etsy it's more of a community. I've just started selling a couple of patterns on etsy. I love the fact that it is virtually effortless.
I'm a professional patternmaker, but more of a TD these days so I need to fulfil my drafting needs by making my own patterns. My patterns are intended for the petite and plus sized petite customers.

I'll add my introduction to this thread too. I make pdf patterns and tutorials for waldorf doll clothing. My shop is fairly new, but I've already made 4 sales in my opening week!! Looking forward to picking the brains of other pattern makers and hearing about everyone elses' experience on etsy.

I am also fairly new here, we have just opened our shop here and did the first sales. We make custom size sewing patterns based on personal measurements. Behind this shop there's a big company, specialized in CAD technologies, Windows software and 3D modeling, and yet I hope we are quite fashion forward and not just computer geeks! :)
