Thought I'd start a post where we can introduce ourselves....I am Sarah and live over here in Australia. I am a mother of 8 and should be insanely busy but don't do nearly enough housework for that!
Love craft and anything to do with creating stuff as I'm sure we all do and am looking forward to getting to know Etsy people around my own age!

I'm Linda and I live in a small rural community south of Colorado Springs. My husband and I have adult children from previous marriages. A few years ago we started a second family when Randy and I adopted two little girls. Sophie's now 12 and Brin is 9.

We opened our first Etsy shop last year - http://www.etsy.com/shop/RusticLogDecor. We love wood, designing and making functional objects.

We love exploring... hiking, driving trips, collecting rocks, walking on the beach, and eating out.

Cindy, I don't know where Central is exactly, but I know the area a little. It is beautiful! I noticed someone else from SC. I'm from Charleston and visit my Mom in Sumter once a year so I'm usually criss-crossing the state.

Hello Everyone.
My name is Kathy. Looks like a nice group of people here that I am glad to team up with. I live in the suburbs of St Louis, MO. with hubby, and 14 year old son. I think I could stay on etsy 24/7 if I could get by with it. I recently started investigating the treasury thing. I'm glad I took the time to figure it out. It's really interesting and fun and I'm always amazed at the talent found here on etsy and the beautifully handmade creations.

Hi Kathy, Kim, Chris, Linda and Sheila! My husband and I live in Waco, Texas, and I have one 18yr old son and two kitties. I stay at home, and thought it would be nice if I could make a little bit of money to put towards a vacation home.
Treasury making is fun, and addictive. It can be very inspiring. It is for me, however, sort of a lesson in time management.

Kimberly what is the weather like in Waco? I have not been out since Monday. Its awful up here in north TX and we are suppose to get more snow tomorrow..yikes..And oh wow we are having a heat wave right now up here..19 degrees!! LOL

Hi there! I'm Desiree and I live in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The kids are grown up and gone and my guy and I both work full time in corporate life, so Etsy is my sanity time. I love sewing, creating, vintage anything and tweaking old ideas in new ways. I would much rather be at my sewing machine than my desk - think it might have something to do with a mid life crisis. My guy's, not mine. I also have a second etsy store for vintage things, which I hope no one minds if I add to this group too. Etsy is my second home.

Hi!My name is Sheila and I live in Bemidji,MN---near the coldest spot in the nation--International Falls,MN.
I have two daughters from my first marriage and have 6 grandchildren only one of which is a girl.

I enjoy making tags, occassionally stamping, beading and scrapbooking! I also love vintage items--especially glassware.
I have 5 cats and 1 dog(Caili, my avatar) and they keep me busy.
My husband will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in June. He is the manager at the Amusement Arcade in the Mall, and I am a Program Coordinator at our local Developmental Achievement Center where I am a middle to low manager of staff and Program Coordinator. That is why I love Etsy so much! It too is my little oasis of sanity in my less than happy work life!
I am very glad to be on this great team and look forward to getting to know all of you!

I'm Kati, from Sofia, Bulgaria... Europe... I have just one little boy - but when we started our family we wanted 3 children and... are fighting hard (but most probably won't get there... :( ) for more children. I love all kind of work with yarn, well, primarily glue-free technics, but sometimes I use glue also. Also love working with wood and similar - actually we made a great deal of our furniture ourselves... and designed the rest (i.e. the pieces we did not do with our hands).
Oh, and I'm 37. Pretty late for wanting children, but... we started late. Alas.

Hello! My name is Janet. I live in NE Ohio and have been collecting beach glass for several years. When my husband's not out fishing, he helps me hunt for beach glass. I recently started making jewelry and other items with my 'treasures'. I started out just giving the items to friends/family as gifts. I have found an outlet for my new hobby here on Etsy. Hi Everybody. I started another shop. It's me, Kathy, from SewProEmbroidery. This is a food related shop. Don't have alot of items yet cause it takes time to test out receipes to make sure they work. I'm currently working on making jar soup receipes that are fast, easy to fix, and contain alot of veggies cause I love them, but don't want to take the time to prepare them. Throwing freeze dried and/or dehydrated veggies into a soup or stew is an easy way to eat them without all the time consuming prep.
