When one reaches a certain age [which is variable], one decides to be either...well...since it's late and I don't have much of a brain, one decides to be confrontational or to brush it off. Keep in mind, you don't have to be the same one all the time! I LIKE giving someone a look of horrified surprise while saying "Hmm, I though we'd gotten over the decisions over who someone is based on one facet of his life. Hmmm....must've missed the discussion on that..." or "Wait, NO, really? you thought because I'm gay I.....?" [fill in the blank] Mass confusion and embarrassment ensues, and some amount of thinking. WAY more fun that a mere "no, don't be embarrassed, happens all the time!" when you've been pigeonholed. But to each his own.........no, don't be embarrassed, I don't have a non-gender-neutral way to say everything, it's OK. *snicker*
