OrigamiEtsy Team Challenge?

I'm not very good @ creating my own original models and have decided to begin challenging myself. If anyone else is up to it... I'd like to do monthly team challenges.

The creation must be original, your own design. As simple or as detailed as you would like! Just have fun with it!

Challenge entries submitted by the 15th of the month. Link to your finished model through your blog, twitter or wherever you can upload it onto the web!

This is just for fun and there isn't a prize. :)

If anyone is up for it I'd like the 1st challenge to be a cicada.

What would you suggest this month? Maybe something easier than a cicada! :)

Well how would you feel about a flower maybe? I dont have something spacefied in my mind... but there are lots of them and maybe we could make one of our own!

I agree I'm not very good at making my own models yet either I think its a great idea. The most I've really managed is turning Robert langs orchid into a bird of parade flower.
