Hi ya,
My name is Stacey and I am a local artist here in Reno. I am posting this to help the Nevada Humane Society recruit some local artists to participate in a fabulous event they are having this July. In theme with "Art Town" the NHS will be having an art exhibit at their location to celebrate art, adoptions, and just how awesome animals are.
They are looking for local artists to display their paintings, photography, sculptures, etc. Your work "MUST" be animal related. There will be a "Pawspective Art Show" on July 13 at the shelter, but they will be displaying art in the shelter for the entire month of July.
This is all the information I have right now. More information will be available in June.
It will be a great opportunity for artist to display their work as the NHS receives many visitors everyday. Most importantly, you will be a part of an event that help countless animals in need. I have been honored to be at many of NHS events and absolutely love working with them and being a part of something so meaningful.
So if you are interested and would like to submit your work for this event you need to contact J'Neal Hachquet at NHS. She is very busy but "will" get back to you as soon as she can.
