Looking for store feedback

I opened my store a few weeks ago and am still waiting for my sales to start, not happening as quickly as I was hoping. I have had views and am making some circles and things to get my store out there but this is a slow process.

Would like some feedback on my shop, and am wondering if my shipping costs are too high and stopping potential sales. Problem is I think its where it needs to be after talking with Canada Post and a FedX and then my box for putting it in. I see a lot of shops with less on shipping but seems like the lower costs come with more sales!

Re: Looking for store feedback

Hi I am no expert at this catogory, I sell paintings. But just so you have a little bit more of a head start. When I started on etsy I used to look at the store with the most sales and look at there title and tags. I think you may need to add more to your tags example: soy wax candles, candle, candles, soy, soy candle, cinnamon candle, candle set, autumn candles, soy tea lights, soy wax, scented candles, hand poured, soy handmade scented candle, soy jar candle, hand poured soy candles, scented soy candles. And also there are lots of candle makers out there, so having top of the line photos are great. And also have a budget set aside for renewing. when you renew your candles they will be on the front page until they get pushed towards the back pages. Most likely customers buy most items that are on the first 5 pages.
I hope this helps good luck.
