What makes YOU a nerd?

Hey all, I thought it would be interesting to meet you all and find out what makes us all nerds.

I love SciFi of any and all types and am a huge browncoat. I love World of Warcraft (as you can probably tell from my store) and many other MMORPG's. I have been a paper and pencil RPG gamer for 20 years (yikes!) and have even been involved in a medieval reenactment club. I have I am a graphic designer and iTunes App developer by trade, with a love of crafting and handmade everything.

I'm in a bunch of different fandoms ranging from anime to movies to tv shows and cartoons to video games. I'm proud to like all of the things that I do and I'm glad that I am able to meet people who like the same things that I do. I get super excited about stuff and I don't care.

Hello All!

Wow, what makes me a nerd? Well I am a grammar geek first and foremost. After than, I joined many fandoms including LOTR (I'm such a hipster for saying this, but books before movies), Harry Potter (ditto to the LOTR hipster comment), browncoat, Buffy, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and oh so many more. Most recently I joined the world of D&D/Pathfinder. If I could, I would be a lifelong student. I adore art history, theory, and criticism.

Well, I think to be a nerd.
An old nerd.
All started with Dungeons & Dragon and Dragonlance.
I'm in love with space, Star wars, Star Trek and logically Astronomy!
I love Fantasy books (Ursula Le Guin, JRRTolkien, Robert E. Howard and many underrated fantasy authors like Jonathan Stroud).
I like graphic and PC. I love doctor Who (with Jon Pertwee).
I was an old player of the '80 (people of my age remember Black Tiger :-) great hack'n slash game!!!).
I'm crazy for comics (In Italy there are many beautiful comics like Dylan Dog and Brendon), Conan the Barbarian, Witchblade, X-Men and Sandman.
I'm 43 y.o.
