Help! What am I doing wrong?

What am I doing wrong? I have reviewed my listings and I do not know why I am not busier. I have good pictures, I think, maybe not. I have thorough descriptions; I have good reviews; I have free shipping; I have very reasonable prices; I use all organic materials and the best of the best materials.

I am so slow. The best I've ever done was over the summer. I was selling about $100 a week. That's not very good in my opinion. I would like to be selling about $300 a week. Is that feasible or is the market for bath so saturated that there is too much competition, and I will never make that much.

With the holidays among us, I really thought my gift sets would skyrocket. It seems that everyone buys bath products for people when they just don't know what to buy. It should be the busiest time of year. is it still too early for it to take off?

I just feel like there is something very wrong with my shop now that I have the good reviews to back me up and I am still slow.

Any ideas, criticism, or compliments would be very appreciated!

Thanks,
Kel

Re: Help! What am I doing wrong?

Hi Kelly! I checked out your shop and it looks REALLY good! Maybe I'm not the best judge, but I do not think that you are doing anything wrong.

I also sell organic and natural products, and from my experience, I know that lowering prices (like free shipping, for ex) does not always work - I feel that when I am satisfied with my prices and get paid fairly for my input, that is when customers that also want to get what they pay for come into the picture!
Look forward to selling the amount you want, and I'm sure you'll be getting more customers by thanksgiving!
Hope my advice helps!
I would also love to receive ideas from anyone who would look at my shop!

On another note, I would like to start a treasury and can include you if you would like. Anyone reading this that wants to be included, please reply to me!
I would also appreciate being part of a treasury for more exposure as well, since I am new to etsy selling. I will start a new thread for this.
