My Etsy business (Keri's Papercrafts) is engaging with Fairfax County on an initiative for small-scale production businesses (i.e. makers) in Fairfax County.
The "Made in Fairfax" initiative would focus on leveraging unrented retail stores for pop-ups, markets, or as production spaces. Also, there may be opportunities to teach how to start a small Etsy business & to mentor others who are beginning. There is a focus to create a community for these makers for long-term sustainability.
I am looking for anyone interested in being part of this community - either in Fairfax or outside of Fairfax. We don't want to exclude participation for solely Fairfax residents particularly if someone is interested in renting short-term space in Fairfax County.
