Even if I didn't have a cat...

...I'd join this team just for the name! Owned by one cat currently. Rudy is my muse and my nemesis.

couldn't agree more! I've got a Himalayan that demands attention, but only when he wants it! Our household also has a Boston Terrier and a pair of doves. They all get along great, but we all know who's the boss!

A house just doesn't seem like home without a headbutt in the ankles when you walk in through the door.

Re: Even if I didn't have a cat...

I had a cat free three years. Got kittens four months after moving in to a brand new house. My family thinks I am nuts to have them ruining everything (and they do lol) but I don't care about scratched up window sills or barf stain carpets....wouldn't have it any other way lol.

Boy can I relate to the Muse and Nemesis comment. Boo my 16 1/2 pound 11 year old Ruler of the Roost is like my shadow. He even has his very own perch right next to the bead table. Still he wants to be in my lap sometimes, but so fortunately for me (us?), he waits until I clear a spot, He doesn't walk on the beads anymore. I think all the crashing & loud noises scared him!

Rudy goes out and cats around (pun intended) in the morning and comes in and lays down on my desk all afternoon - supervising my work - still walks on the wet clay more than occasionally. Doesn't realize I'm trying to pay for his cat treats :-)

Re: Even if I didn't have a cat...

my 2 cats aren't studio cats, the girl cat doesn't understand a bucket of fine or med. grog isn't a litter box so they don't get the joy of walking across wet clay. They do get to watch me mosaic tho they insist on being on each side of me and occassionally demand a pet, scritch, or ear rub.

Re: Even if I didn't have a cat...

One of my cats is obsessed with ribbon. When he hears me open the ribbon drawer or pick up the scissors he comes flying in the room. I have to watch out because he sneak attacks while I am tying ribbon....sometimes he gets my fingers ouch. I have had to lock myself in the closest to tie ribbons....then he sticks his paw under the door lol. He's nuts!

grog = litter! so funny :-)

My old cat used to love tissue pattern pieces....had to lock myself in my room to cut out a pattern - can definitely relate to your ribbon story Shanna!
