How do you promote outside of Etsy?

Hello everyone! As I'm starting to settle in to the Etsy world, I'm just wondering: how do you promote outside of Etsy?

I'm trying to decide what social media I'd like to use, so any insight would be great :)

I use Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and I have a blog.

So far Twitter and the blog have been what I focus on, I need to be more active on my other social media accounts. I like Twitter because it's easy. :)

I use most all forms of social media. I use facebook, twitter, google+, pinterest, youtube, ect..
I also talk it up. I talk to people in public about what I do. My parents own a restaurant and I like to sit and needle felt. Most people don't know what needle felting is because it is so new. People ask what I do, I explain it to them and I give them my business card. I also have cards in my parents restaurant and kitchen store for people to take. I have given out my cards to friends and family as well

I use to think to the things I do as a whole. I have a blog with my illustrations and it is also my portfolio, my etsy shop, a a facebook fanpage, a personal twitter account where I I post about illustration, comics and etsy-related stuff, an instagram account, a pinterest account... it's not about the shop, it's about the thing I do, and everything on the whole drive people to the shop :)
