anyone use Plastic Bags?

Just put a listing up for a plastic bag rug and was wondering if anyone else uses plastic bags to crochet with?

I just saw a post on FB where a lady used plarn AND sportsweight yarn to make her grocery bags. It made them stronger and more colorful.

I've always thought that was so neat but then wonder how you would clean what you made when it got dirty. Would it ever truly dry or would it mildew?

Just hang the plastic bag in garage to dry or outside. I would use them to carry produce already in plastic wrap, box mixes, cereal, or breakfast bars, rolls. I need to make some, would be fun to do.
