I am the GM for VIA Aquarium in Rotterdam, NY and the weekend of September 21st-23rd we are having our first Mer-Con (Mermaid Convention). We are opening up to have vendors during the convention and would like to extend an invite here! I recently took over coordinating this event so I know I'm a little behind the time. Below is the general invitation email. Celebrating Mer-culture and lifestyle!
Good day!
VIA Aquarium would like to invite you to take part in our upcoming Mer-Con. The goals of the event are to connect vendors that specialize in mermaid themes and culture with guests whom have the same affinities. As an exhibitor/vendor, we would like your agency/company to help VIA Aquarium spread the message of a bright vibrant lifestyle, healthy body positive image, and ecological awareness that modern mermaids portray.

Friday 1pm-3:30pm

Convention hours:

“Merlesque” Event 9pm-10pm
Saturday 10am-6pm VIA Aquarium is open until 8pm, you are welcome to stay
Sunday 11am-5pm Sunday will be marketed as a “Kids Day” with an exclusive showing of the new live action Little Mermaid from Conglomerate Media.

Travel Accommodations: We have worked with the Courtyard Schenectady at Mohawk Harbor to provide a discounted rate of $109 per night. Availability is limited so and the offer will expire by 09/07/2018.
