Cross-promoting ideas

Hi everyone! I know we're all super busy but I wanted to see if anyone is interested in any cross-promotion ideas. What I mean is, ways to share other like-business' with our customers, for example, through facebook and our current clientelle. My husband had a great idea and I would be willing to try this system: A flyer or promotional card Thanking our clients for their business and referring them to maybe like these other "Great Artists on Etsy" and include a logo and/or business name with link info.

I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from the message I sent to some members but I don't think people get the post notifications regarding the threads... maybe that's something Etsy can improve-on..? Casey

I think Etsy assumes that if people join a team, they check the threads themselves :)

Yeah - the only problem is.. we're all so busy, we wish someone else would do the work for us! haha. Maybe someday they'll be like facebook and provide notifications. I'm much more interested in seeing what my faves and friends have to 'say' than what their newest "favorite" is. ; )

I enjoy having a FB page but often don't really know what to post on it daily :) -- How do you come up with ideas? Do you find your *fans* interact with you a lot?
That would make it much easier!!

It's taken me a bit to figure out how to check threads and even find this group! haha. But I'm slowly getting it.
