when the promo stopped.

i received 3 orders in a row.

@nineteen27  I had 1 order and the buyer didn't use the code. Canada Post has a Free Shipping Tuesday promo this week tho. A Canadian buyer could do well this week.

They don't work for me either, but they will be working for some, because I already made one purchase and plan to make more. 

Just purchased from a shop offering 10% off, free shipping if you buy 2 or more items (already planned to purchase 3), then $10 off is from Etsy.  I had planned to purchase yesterday, but happy I waited.

Me too! I noticed it and was really surprised. Usually, I have good sales, but during this first promo a few weeks back - nothing. now - also - nothing yet.

I had a decent amount of orders last time, with the code used a few times. It was also not used on some orders which would have qualified.

They're trying to increase orders by any means necessary, and while it may or may not increase sales for our particular shops, it's a great deal for buyers.

My orders were unchanged during the promotion. On the other hand I tried to use the code several times and it didn't work.

you have to make sure you are putting it in the right place.

• For shoppers to use the Etsy-funded discount code, they’ll need to add the code at checkout where it says ‘Apply Etsy Coupon’ (not the ‘apply shop coupon codes’ section). This is because this coupon is funded by Etsy at no cost to you. The shop coupon area is where buyers plug in codes created by sellers. Because they are only doing this on Instagram, I'm sure this is another one of their tests.  They are testing to see the response from Instagram as compared to other SM sites.  Common practice among companies to test where their customer base hangs out.

Sellers and their shops aren't the only targets of tests.  So are buyers.
