I have this new box on my listing pages with this writing and a little icon.
---
"Shop on Etsy and be part of a community doing good.
We are not just a destination for creative goods, we’re a community pushing for positive change for small businesses, people and the planet."
----
I should be allowed to charge a fee for this ad they are essentially running my listing page that I pay for.
Total BS since they started allowing mass produced items to be sold on here, while charging shop sellers for every little thing imaginable and taking on fees for everything under the sun.
I don't see this message anywhere on the listing page, must be a test.
Yes, it's a test. It appears randomly on listings for both my shops. ugh!
I don't know - I kind of like it. It harkens back to the days when shoppers where the kind to be searching for those truly special items and shops where the kind that offered them. I see it as a pseudo 'shoppers looking for counterfeit or resold items not wanted' sign... but then, I'm an eternal struggling optimist.

This part I agree with whole heartedly though.
I didn't see it anywhere on your listing pages. Odd thing to put there, since the customers are already "shopping on Etsy" if they are on that page.
I've seen it the past couple of weeks while shopping. There's a second variation on the message that it seems to flip back and forth/between as well that talks about the ethics of shopping on Etsy. It's definitely noticeable since it stands out in the tan box but it seems to move around either below the photos or under the price so it looks like a notice from the seller.
Etsy can do whatever they want on the shop home pages. We don't own the pages or the design. That is all Etsy. We accept by having a shop the right for them to do what they feel is necessary. It's in the TOUs.
I don't see that but I have local seller above my title on the listing page. If you click on it, it says,
"Ships from Colorado!
You’re supporting a local business with your purchase."
I haven't seen it.
