✔ Matryoshka AKA Russian Nesting Doll original artwork is from a noteworthy Russian artist. The first Russian nested doll set was carved in 1890 by Vasily Zvyozdochkin from a design by Sergey Malyutin, who was a folk crafts painter at Abramtsevo. Traditionally for the actual wooden dolls, the outer layer is a woman, dressed in a sarafan, a long and shapeless traditional Russian peasant jumper dress. Most mornings weather permitting I take an adventure to visit my 88 roses all around my home . . . it is always best to wear a long sleeve shirt and gloves too as these thorny bushes cause blood to flow . . . This is simply a photograph of this new rose showing its classic blooms that are on this rose’s very thorny stems meaning care must be taken when cutting it for a bud vase to give to one’s sweetie.
