Sorry I have been alittle MIA, crazy winter here. I was wondering if you knew of any upcoming fairs.

If you have participated in any of these, how have you done ?

The North Reading Land Utilization Committee is thrilled to announce that the 5th Annual Crafts in the Park will be held on Saturday May 21, 2011. We look forward to offering Ipswich River Park as the venue for this event once again and hope that you will be interested in being a part of the excitement. It is our goal to provide you with a wonderful opportunity to present your goods and hopefully have a successful sales day. Our price has remained at $25.00 per 12 X 12 space. Although we are asking for donations for our raffle table, this is an optional choice as listed on the application. I have attached both an application and a flyer for your review. Any assistance you can provide for spreading the word to other crafters will be appreciated.

We look forward to hearing from you soon. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or requests. Your presence will make this a better day and we are anxious to serve you.

Hey Robin,

I have information for the Wakefield Craft Fair Festival by the Lake.
I can forward that info for the team also. It is a Handmade Craft Fair
only and a juried craft fair.

I've been doing a lot of research for craft fairs - both indoor and outside. I've been trying to decide which ones to apply to this year. I have information on several throughout the year if anyone wants more info. In chronological order:

Wakefield By the Lake - June
Westford First Parish Church Strawberries 'n Arts Festival - June
Codman Estate Fine Arts and Crafts Festival in Lincoln- September
110th Annual Harvest Craft Fair in Sudbury - October
Tewksbury Memorial High School Applefest Craft Fair - October
Town of Newton Craft Fairs - July, October, and I think December

I thought I had a few more saved on my computer, but that seems to be it for right now!

There is one in the fall at North Andover High, that one is usually packed !!

Oh man! I already am comitted to an open studios on that day, otherwise, I would take you up on that! What a great price. its so hard to find fairs that are under $100 per day.

went to the Riverside craft fair, was slow, nice artists, I bought a special toy holder baby blanket, 2 embroidered dish cloths, and my best find was 2 plastic bag holders. There was a crafter there that had the melted wine bottles, very nice, she tells you to put water in and then put them in the fridge, then take them out for cheese or olives. very clever :)

I know I'm a little slow, but I'm new to both the team and the area. Does anyone know of any fairs coming up that are still looking for vendors, with a low fee?

"crafts in the park" Andover, always mothers day weekend.

Newbie here! Today, I was online looking for reasonable fairs. I took a soap making class at the Eliot School with Kimberlee. She recommended trying some local craft fairs. Thanks for the info! :)

Worcester's stART on the Street: Spring Edition is coming up on May 22nd. The rain date is June 5th. April 23rd is the artist application deadline.

It's on:

Worcester, MA 01609

-More than 150 local artists and crafters
-Local non-profits
-Food court (with vegan options)
-Youth artist market
-Specialty food vendors
-Farmers' market

Hi all -

Thanks to everyone who's posted information about craft fairs here! I'm hoping to take my jewelry to my first craft fair ever next month and was hoping those of you who have done them before might have advice as to equipment - a good brand for tents and tables, what kind of displays work best, etc. I appreciate any tips you can give me.

I am signed up for Andover crafts in the park for this saturday and it looks like we may get rained out again this year! I am so frustrated!!!!! I have to sign up for these shows months in advance and I know it is always a gamble with the weather but It still drives me crazy. I can only do so many shows a year because it takes so long to rebuild my stock. I know this may not be the thread to vent but if anyone has any advise on indoor shows in the area I think my time at outdoor shows has come to an end!
