Has anyone actually gone through the process of getting their sellers permit? Is it necessary or can we just pay taxes at the end of the year when we file?
I have a tax ID as well. First, if I remember correctly you have to get a business license from the town you are working out of. Then, go to mass.gov and look under the business tab. They will give you step by step directions and it is pretty easy.
