Greetings Nicky,
Have taken a good look at your shop and the main thing that comes to mind is –
Lovely!
You are doing so much right. Lovely products – beautifully photographed.
The styling with the blooms is particularly attractive.
Something I think you could do is to be braver about revealing something of yourself. Your profile is blank and your about page doesn’t give much away. This is a good opportunity to help people understand – and therefore appreciate your craft and the processes involved in creating beautiful handmade products. Not everyone will be interested – but many will! It can help to develop a bit of a relationship with your customers.
One tip from me would be to try and stagger your listing dates. Rather than posting or relisting items in large batches in one day, arrange things so that one item gets listed/relisted most days (aim at everyday if you can). This will keep your shop live, fresh and recent in Etsy’s algorithms. When people do a search for items the most relevant (in terms of titles, tags & description) appear on the fist pages, but Etsy also tries not to swamp the pages with vast quantities from only one or two most relevant shops. So all kinds of other factors kick in to give variety in what potential customers see in their search. All a bit mysterious – but that’s how I’ve understood it...
You are doing well with sales anyway, so congrats on having a Lovely shop and thanks for shareing.
Lynn
