I love my business Facebook page. If you haven't got one its a really fabulous way to let your customers/friends know what you're up to. Here's mine...
I've not had a great deal of luck/interest/success with my facebook page. Please feel free to make any polite suggestions. I always feel that content is a little difficult and I don't want to do the "buy this" all the time thing.
Never quite got my head around Facebook but am giving it another go so feel free to give me some encouragement by liking my page!! I've been through and liked everyones page so far, seen some lovely things.
I must admit I hardly ever use my Facebook page but I will make more of an effort if I can find the time. Anyhow, I have visited and liked all the above Facebook pages. Here's mine
I'm trying to make sure that any team members with their own FB pages (rather than your personal account) gets a like from the team page. If you don't think the team page has found you, do pop in and say hello.
It's a good place to encourage and share each other’s postings. Plus - every now and then we remember to highlight team member’s items who don't have a FB page themselves.
I have discovered, doing giveaway/draws if you can afford it, is a good way to get visitors and likes to your facebook page. Facebook IS the internet to most people so having a facebook page is essential really. I have only recently started mine (beginning of August). I'm about to do another prize draw-giveaway to help boost the numbers of followers.
I have also found, joining groups that would be full of possible customers (for me that might be writers and artists) is a good way to promote my facebook page via posting the giveaway/draw ads.
I've just been busy getting the Made in Devon Etsy Team FaceBook page to like team members art/craft pages. It's easier to find and share your posts that way... If I've missed anyone please pop onto the team page and say hello!
I have to be honest I'm not a fan of facebook as a selling platform any more & find twitter, instagram & pinterest much better for getting sales. I do have a facebook page but mostly to post my Etsy links on. I ran a networking page on FB for a couple of years & have seen how the pages have been struggling to get seen without lots of networking. I have a lovely group of likers who are always on my page leaving likes ect but I just find its very time consuming. FB used to be the best but i'm just not feeling the love any more ♥
