Shipping problems to Australia? Help

Has anyone been having long delays when shipping to Australia lately? Throughout June 80% of my post has taken nearly a month to arrive...was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

Not had buyers from Australia in June so can't help, but there is nothing on the RM website about delays.

I know this may sound daft but did you put airmail on the items?

I have read somewhere on one of the forums about 10 / 14 days ago that there was a hold up for mail getting through customs in Australia at the moment as everything is being checked. However I posted 2 parcels just before, using International Signature required on one and just straightforward airmail on the other, and they arrived in about a fortnight.

Thanks guys. All my parcels were sent normal airmail and nearly all are still waiting or only just arrived some took a month to arrive grrrr!

I've just had a customer from Australia convo me to say they haven't received their scarf after 2 weeks...I'll let then know that there seems to be a delay - it's good to know I'm not the only one!
