Hi all,
We have just started out recently and we are hoping that we can use Etsy as a way to bring in a decent amount of income to eventually, one day, be able to focus more of my time on our little business! We already sell locally and this is our first big move to online sales.
Things have been very slow sales wise since I joined Etsy. However, I have had over 800 views in my first month but not one order as of yet!
I've asked for some advice in regards to my shop and have changed a few bits here and there but I am just wondering if anyone has any further advice on how I can stimulate some business.
We sell well away from Etsy and I promote regularly around my local area and online (Facebook, newsletters etc) as well as passing out our details at all fairs and markets we go to.
Now, I understand that not everyone is going to want to buy what we sell but I'm still looking for advice if possible!
Our shop is based at www.etsy.com/shop/salebystoneuk
Our Facebook is www.facebook.com/salebystone
Our website is www.salebystone.co.uk
Please feel free to view all and comment on all as well. Good things and criticism welcome!
Thanks!

Re: New Store - Help and Opinions Wanted!
Hi,
Such a cute store!
I'm not too experienced having only been selling for a year or so, but my only advice would be to hang in there until the UK market becomes more aware of the delights of Etsy!
Most of my sales still come from the US. Slowly, slowly, the UK/EU market is improving although it's still way behind. I would imagine that most people browsing your store are from the US so the shipping costs make purchasing less attractive even though they may love your product.
Hopefully we can all work together to make the UK more aware of our existence.....then roll on sales!
Warm regards and good luck,
Christina
