First Post and Welcome!

Hello,
I found it odd that to my knowledge, etsy has no team dedicated to machine knitting! I am a machine knitter (and of course hand knitter), and thought it would be great to have a team for us machine knitters, where we can discuss machines, purchasing knitting machines, machine knitting yarn, patterns, and anything else. So I welcome anyone who finds there way here, whether you have a knitting machine or just have interest in machine knitting in general, this is the team for you.

Machine Knitters Unite!!!

Yay! Welcome Rayla!
I just couldn't believe that etsy didn't have any machine knitting teams, sooo I decided to make one :) I know we can't be the only ones on here either. It just takes time for people to mosey around the team categories I think. So, do you have a machine of your own?

Re: First Post and Welcome!

Yes I do. I have a Singer 500 and LK150. I haven't been active on Etsy for a while because I had a baby boy recently, but I'm working on new pattern and hope to be back soon!

Re: First Post and Welcome!

Hi, It's great to have somewhere to discuss knittiing machines. I have a Knitmaster 700 and ribber. I used to knit lots of hats for various causes, and I really enjoy machine knitting.
My other main interest is gardening.

Hi, I'm new to machine knitting but really enjoying it, and having fun playing around with developing patterns for myself to wear, I have a Brother KH-710 and a Knitmaster zippy de-luxe.

Re: First Post and Welcome!

So hi everyone I live in Peru and can get you baby alpaca and alpaca for the knitting machines. Let me know if anyone is interested and if it is available in the States. Shipping is costly but it is nice yarn!

Re: First Post and Welcome!

Hi All.
I have three knitting machines although all of them are currently packed away. I thought that by joining this team I may gain some enthusiasm to get one out again and make something. I had a job machine knitting a hundred hats per month up until this time last year and I was so pleased to see the back of the job so that I could do my creative crafts again that I packed my machine away.
I have two Brother standard gauge machines one is electronic and a Brother Chunky gauge. I have a fibber bed for the standard gauge machine.

Re: First Post and Welcome!

Hi all you knitters,

I just opened a shop with my knitting. I use a beautiful but expensive yarn (even wholesale!) but that's what quality is all about. I'm always looking for high quality cone yarn so would love it if anyone has a favorite source they are willing to share.

I have a Brother 230, bulky with ribber, a Studio 301/303 that is really vintage looking and works well, and the use of a Brother Compuknit whose electronic programming I can't quite make work.
