Hi everyone! I am a 24-year-old single mom of a beautiful boy who's going to be 2 in a few weeks.

My craft is crocheting. I love to do it, and some have even commented that I am addicted, which isn't entirely untrue. I am very passionate about my work and constantly trying to perfect it, as well as learning new techniques and tricks.

I have made several items for myself, my son, and other family members, and within the past year I decided it was time to expand and start selling my work. This decision didn't come a moment too soon since I was laid off my job last November. Unfortunately I live in an area that has very few job openings, and nothing that would do much to support my son and I. So I took more to my hobby and here I am.

I am hoping here I can meet new friends, learn new things, earn a few bucks, and gain new experiences. If you have any questions for me or ever want to chat just let me know!

Hi JoJo! I just joined yesterday too! I have a almost one year old boy. His name is Jasper....he was my inspiration for the shop name and my love of all things romantic. I love vintage, romantic things with a shabby chic feel. I am not a real girly girl, but you wouldn't know it by how my house is decorated! roses everywhere!

My craft is focused mostly on kids items and embellished items for the home. I work mostly on embellishing items.

I know what you mean Joy! Thanks for stopping by Jasper's Romance on Facebook! When is your son's birthday? Jasper's is on the 29th of this month, and you said your son will be two in a couple of weeks.

It's funny that your craft is crocheting, because I have been brainstorming about turning some of my diaper wipe cases into crochet hook cases! What is your insight on that? Do you think that would be a good idea?

I used to live in Woodbridge too! Amazing! I worked as a contractor on Fort Belvoir. I miss walking around Occoquan, loved that place.

Good Morning ladies! I just got done putting jasper back to bed for the second time this morning and thought I would jump on here. I hope you all got some good sleep and are not like me getting up a lot during the night. I am so used to it though, that it stopped bothering me a long time ago.
