First MMO?

What was your first MMO? Mine was Diablo II as a multi-player. I used to play with my sister and father, then with my now fiance.

EverQuest. Played that for many, many years. Nothing since then has even come close.

Hrm, I guess mine was a free game called Aspereta back in 2002. Before that, I'd only played multiplayer games at lan parties and such. I went from there to WoW.

I started with WoW, not too long after it came out. It was a concession to my husband, who was in Afghanistan at the time--otherwise, I probably would've told him Over My Dead Body and missed out on meeting lots of cool people (and ended up divorced). Ha.

A little 2d game called Graal online, based on Zelda:A Link to the Past. This was back in 2001. I guess my first larger mmo was Ragnarok back when it was pay to play.

My 1st MMO I played is a free game called Fallen Sword (which I still play on occasion, lol) Next came Kingdom of Drakkar, and then WoW.

World of Warcraft. I started because my husband played, my brother played, and I had always loved video games. Since then I have tried a bunch of others, but I always come back to WOW! (Arygos)

So many WoW players! I too play WoW with my husband...He's played since Vanilla, I've played since late BC...just xferred to Doomhammer from Korialstrasz and I'm MUCH happier!

My first experience with non-NPC co-gamers was Neverwinter Nights - Nordock Server release. I think that pre-dated official "MMO's" but if that doesn't count, mine was Eve!
