Wich desktop (cheap) laser cutting do I choose for cutting leather?

Hi,

I'm looking for a desktop laser cutting machine. One without back, just an open frame, not a box.

It is mostly to cut leather, not engraving.

I really don't know how to choose it. Power? CNC? Co2... it's like chinese to me. And as you can see, my english is quite basic.

Any idea or link to help me?

The big problem will be the sale of open frame laser cutters is highly restricted by law. The box is around them for a reason, that beam can blind you in under 1,000th of a second
