Do you include seed bead spacers when shipping bead sets?

I've noticed many listings of lampwork beads include seed bead spacers in the pictures of bead sets. If you do that, do you include those seed beads when you ship the set to the customer, just like it looks in the picture?

Basic question is how do you prepare and package your beads for shipping?

If I photograph them with seed beads I send them with the same seed beads. I don't think they are important, I do think looking like the pictures is a good call ;-)

When I used to make lots of jewelry and was buying lots of lampwork, I quickly found that beads shipped without spacers were far more likely to break! I was a factor in what I purchased... But as a bead maker, I don't think of it... partially because I pack my beads so carefully and I make mostly focals. But for sets, anything with surface decoration goes into it's own 4ml ziptop baggie. Beads w/o surface dec are packed together but only a few. All zippies go into a jewelry box... freebies in zippies on the bottom, cotton, beads and a piece of bubble on top. Box is tied with ribbon and shipped into bubble mailer.

No, I don't photograph them with them and I don't send them out with them. I recently had 2 sets of beads disappear for almost a month. The package arrived with torn and with tire tracks on it. The beads survived in tact and have gone on to make a beautiful necklace for my customer lol. I put them in a small plastic bag, Wrap well with bubble tape (each set gets its own bag and wrap. I wrap in tissue paper and put a ribbon on them, Goes in a bubble envelope.

(I should mention for those that don't know me well, I am also SilverRiverGlassworks, I don't sell beads out of the jewelry shop lol.

I do Made To Order. For more than three bead pairs, I will string them up together with copper spacers imbetween. For the sets, I do include the spacers (or ones close to them) that you see in the photos. I like to keep the beads separated yet still strung together.

I don't always include seed beads or crystals in my pics but when I do I always ship exactly what I photograph. Too many people don't read the descriptions !

I don't photograph mine with them, I basically wrap individually in tissue paper, pack 3-4 beads into a ziplock baggie, pack the baggies in bubble wrap and put some cardboard in the envelope for good measure.
