Re: Introduce yourself

Hi Everyone,

My name is Vanisa Chanthapanya a.k.a Sunshine and I have found that painting mandalas has helped me to discover a whole new world within. Painting them brings me closer to my soul. Especially since I lost my day job and am committing myself to my "heartwork". I joined Etsy this month and its the first time I have been brave enough to sell my art.

I will everything I can do to help promote everyone in the group.

Peace and light Sunshine

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi All! I'm Alicia, Commander at Sally Bateau (I'm my only employee, so I can say that). I love to collaborate with other artisans and I donate 10% of my sales to a different person or non-profit in need every month. I've done Hope and Justice, Homeless Services of Aroostook (in Aroostook County, Maine), a local dog team who is trying against all odds to get her dog sled team ready, and this month is going to a Maine musician who lost everything in a fire. I love to give; you need to give in order to get anything! I'm so fortunate to have found something that I am so passionate about; I make primarily soaps for my Etsy shop, I dabble in other things as well. Thank you for the invitation to the team, I sincerely appreciate it!

Peace, love, and light to all!
Alicia

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi!
My name is Trini, I'm a 40-something single gal from Kalispell Montana, and I've lived in northwest Montana all my life! I have a job that I love working for the Forest Service.. but love making jewelry and my shop concentrates on earrings.

I've had a shop since 2009 and it started out great, but various life events and just life in general got in the way and I ended up making it a non-priority. Now I feel the creative juices flowing and have some time to dedicate to it again! I have missed being an active part of the Etsy community! and I appreciate the invitation to this team!

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello to all. I am so excited about being part of this team and appreciate the invitation - kind crafters - what an awesome idea!

My name is Jami. I just turned 57 and live in central California with my husband of 30 years, my 23 year old son and my fluffy rescue poodle Cookie. I also have a daughter, 21, who is now interviewing at grad schools on the East Coast - oh my! I have always loved crafting and sewing. My mother taught me to sew before I was 10. I am one of those people who can't just sit and watch TV, I have to be doing something with my hands. I actually think it keeps me sane!

I love to do all sorts of crafts. So my shop is filled with lots of different things from dog leashes to baby bibs to wall hangings to bottle caps whatever catches my fancy. My husband is a photographer is in spare time and he has some of his work in my shop too. I just got a new embroidery machine, so I have been making a lot of things on that. I was doing local craft shows and decided to try ETSY. I am really green at promoting - I have lots to learn.

I am excited to being part of this group, learning a lot. I hope I can help promote your shops.
