i got such a late start, by the time i decided on xmas decor, it was way too late..!

LOL - I know what you mean! I know I should plan better for the holidays ... like sewing Halloween stuff in July, and Christmas stuff in August. But then the holiday gets here and I am soooo not ready for it!

that can actually work to your advantage (making holiday when it's not holiday) I usually wait until right after the holiday to stock up on holiday fabric that's being clearanced out - as long as I'm able to find room for it that it : )
