toy labels

Sorry for starting another label thread. I have read through most of the current and old label threads and I still am not really sure what I need.

I think I need a CPSIA label only and not the FTC label also, correct?

If so do I just put:

business.com
city, state, USA
Handmade in the USA
of imported materials
13JFMAMJJASOND14

OR do I need to include the contents of all the materials used?

Thanks.

Re: toy labels

You do have to put the material/ fiber content. On my dolls and plushies I list the inner and outer on different lines you also need care instructions like "spot clean air dry" or whatever your items can handle. It's helpful to add the days of the months and the alphabet, so you can check exactly which day you made the item and select a letter to denote which item it was that was made that day so for example they need to track it back to you you can look up 21-nov-2013 item A. If there is a chance you'd make more than 26 you can add a row of numbers too or do numbers instead, but you need to be able to note the specific items made in order to track your batches and what materials were used in case of a recall or issue.
