Maine-I know of Three Artisan Co-ops on the Coast of Maine who no longer sell anything for Children under 12 that might even have just a hint that they might fall under the CPSIA ruling...they don't want to take any risk at all.
Businesses just don't want to sell kids stuff period...

I can certainly understand why. I've decided not to make first communion bracelets for the time being. Why take the risk right now? I'll continue to make first communion rosaries because those aren't jewelry.

I really hope Congress does the right thing and either exempts small businesses or re-writes the stupid thing to require testing only at the manufacturer level - of the components, not the finished product.
