regarding your Congressmen and Senators

For those who have been disappointed with their response (or lack thereof) from Congressional representatives regarding CPSIA, remember that these individuals work for you. You have the power to show them your disapproval at re-election time. It might be beneficial to remind them of this in your correspondence.

You're right Alice, and letting them know that the disappointment in them will be shared with all your friends and family in their districts can't hurt either.

On Monday morning I'm going to send all my friends and neighbors an email asking them to call our Congressman and request that he vote for DeMint's bill. I think all of this happened because one person told one person that told another...but now we have to back it up....

Oh, and I'm planning on canceling my Consumer Reports subscription. Their current hypocrisy is just too much for me to take right now!

I think one thing that should stand out, is even though some officials gave lack luster replies, our concerns were heard. We did make a difference! And yes, we have their jobs in our small business, mommy blogger's hands.. What a sweet thought indeed.
