jiffy grip and toughtek? testing?

Would jiffy grip non skid fabric need testing?

I'm thinking the toughtek fabric may need testing but I know that other folks use it. I emailed the small business ombudsmen and didn't get a definitive answer. I also asked a following up question regarding leather and it appears that I am being ignored. This whole thing is very frustrating right now.

Re: jiffy grip and toughtek? testing?

Leather should be exempt I believe, natural fiber and all that. The non skid fabric being synthetic would require testing, unless you find a supplier who has already done the testing for you and can provide a certificate to you saying as much. If I recall there are some brands that have done that and the key would be to find the ones that have made the effort to do the testing for us. If you can't find an already tested supplier then you'd have to have it done yourself.
