durability testing for toys?

Has anyone had their toys tested?
Where can I get this done?
All I can find is lab testing for chemicals, but what about for durability?

All of the content is overwhelming.

Re: durability testing for toys?

Try searching the regular CPSC site for information on labs that do testing for ASTM F963 also known as "use and abuse" testing. In 2007 the CPSC adopted this former independant industry regulation as being part of government regulations concerning toys in general, all the CPSIA does is strenghten the government's position on being able to levy fines and imprisonment for not following this exsisting regulation. You may have to join the ASTM if there is no additional information at the CPSC about who is accredited to preform this test service.
