Here, you can read it too: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/26/AR2009012601831.html

Tell your friends... especially moms and moms-to-be... No level of mercury is safe.

scrapsoupcropcircles
scrapsoupcropcircles says:
How about how they allow factories notorious for salmonella contaminations to remain open.

Or try to tell us that its acceptable to have Melamine and Cyanuric Acid in Baby formula.

-------

Note the people responsible for the melamine in baby formula were actually sentenced to death in China.

Since I have been diagnosed with Diabetes, I have really gone whole foods. I don't like much that is packaged. But it is hard to find many things that don't have high fructose corn syrup.

I am amazed at how many products have HFCS in them. I've not been reading labels more...
bread, hot dog buns, cream cheese, etc. etc.

I wish I had a Whole Foods or Trader Joes near me.

Re: ban harmless handmade toys but put mercury in our high fructose corn syrup

I remember reading in Mother Jones... years ago that-
When you read the label on a - box of cereal say-
They have the gram wt. of "sugars"
and then there is a "other carbohydrates" and a gram wt. listed.
This is Lable Speak for ...
more sugar.
There was a specific law passed that let the manufacturers put a certain percentage of real sugar under the carbo list.
In other words...
When you read a box.,. add the "sugar" with the "carbo" and THAT'S your total sugar content.
whew.
subterfuge.

That's so sickening in so many ways. Why is it ok to put all these chemicals in our food- especially childrens' food. No wonder everyone is getting cancer these days. And it seems like high fructose corn syrup is in everything. I started baking my own bread because of it.

That's just scary! We *really* need to go back to using natural sugar in our food again!

Check this out- sludge farming.... it is quite disgusting, supposedly "safe", and a possible cause of e-coli/ salmonella poisoning.
