another XRF testing party

I recently worked with frillerup to organize a testing party for people in Michigan and we received lots of requests from people to mail their items to us.. We weren't sure how it would work, but it turns out the mailing thing worked well. I am going to need to test some more materials/items and am wondering if there are more folks who want to get their stuff zapped with the XRF that couldn't make it last time to the testing event or would like to mail items. I'm trying to get an idea of how much time I would need to reserve with the person who did the testing for us last time. Thanks!

what ended up being the time frame, for buttons/zippers vs. fabrics? last time you all tested?

pinkquartz, just small samples of fabrics, buttons, zippers, etc. People had both finished products and components (we are supposed to test finished products, but it ended up that the tester zapped each component).

ivyandmae, it varied on what was being tested but overall the testing was surprisingly fast!

I'm asking because I make Halloween makeup for kids, so am assuming this is also under the law. I'm wondering if I have to send pounds of the raw minerals, or make a select bunch of colors up and then send pounds of those, or if I can send a small sample from each bag of raw minerals?

I just talked to the testing guy and we're tentatively set up for the 28th to do more testing. I'll be sending out contracts to those who are interested as well as spreadsheets to fill out for your items.
