Will Etsy set up a 'non US Sales' section/indicator due to CPSIA?

I'm just wondering, due to the CPSIA regulations, if international sellers decide to cease selling to US buyers, will Etsy have a 'tick box' or somthing to help make this process a little easier?

With sellers talking about not selling to buyers in the US, I would be a very annoyed US buyer if items I couldn't buy kept coming up in my search.

Any thoughts on this?

BTW - I don't want to do this, I'm just thinking about what might happen.

When you create a listing, you can indicate whether or not you ship to any particular country (US or otherwise) and when you search, you can indicate which country you want the item to "Ship to", there is a drop down box on the left when you search for this relatively new feature.

This is a new feature that was fought for by international buyers annoyed at getting stuff in their searches they couldn't buy...

I use it all the time ;)

Ah. Thanks for that. It's a shame we even have to be concerned about this. I know it's all for the greater good, and the intention behind the laws is sound - but what a way to do it.
