Who got refused by a 3rd party testing lab because you were too small?

I remember seeing someone post that they contacted a third party lab and that the lab didn't want to work with them because they were too small.

That's great, because if you get refused and can't comply, then they (the govt) are putting you out of busineess.

Maybe we can sue them? lol

If I don't find the person, I'm going to assume this was just a rumor. I really thought I read this here...but since I've read so much, it's hard to remember.

I'm a little cautious about talking to the media though, they seem to twist things around.

I read it too. The labs I've contacted for prices didn't have any kind of minimum volume, and knew I was a one-woman handcrafter when they wrote to me. If there are labs turning away small businesses, I think there are others who are willing to take our business (if we can afford it).

I think that's significant... but I know how shyness is.
(I think if I had information like that I'd look at my feet and still talk to the reporter.)

I think where the testing is the MOST deadly is that we can't afford it. especially with our OOAK and short run/limited edition "batches".
